I struggled with trauma for many years. I did a lot of therapy, but it was difficult for me to connect with therapists. I never expected my therapist to truly be in my shoes, but I always felt that meeting with therapists was a heavy task, like being exposed and vulnerable.
Eventually, I decided to take a self-help approach to therapy. I searched for many things, but the information in this film is so deep and truly helps connect the missing dots. It was a surprise to learn about the reasons that make us think about trauma so consistently, as if it’s happening to us every single day.
I learned so much from this video, and it even made me feel a little lighter, understanding how what’s inside our head shapes our entire world and keeps trauma alive.
